Ana's Story

The Call Of The BattleMage

A Princess Mage in hiding is called upon to fulfil her Destiny when the Ultimate Evil threatens the very fabric of the United Realms of Eall'wyye...

...But all the while, someone else is also in hiding, who most powerful and holds her Destiny in their hands in more ways than one

 ~~~~~*****~~~~~
Ana spent almost Eight Years on the run from her heritage. She has spent the last 3 1/2 of them safely secluded in a Mage Coven. There, is is simply known as Ana, and that she ran from her family when she was a teenager.
She tells them no lies. However, she does omit a mountain of truth and personal information from what she tells them. All she wants is a life of simplicity, of anonymity, and good friends who treat her as a Person, instead of a tiara-wearing Icon.
In her time away from the Palace, and especially at the Coven, Ana has learned to wield her strange and dangerous Magika, and honed it into a fierce weapon. Along with her dual-wielding short-swords and daggers, she is now a fierce BattleMage with seemingly unlimited powers and abilities beyond most usual Mages.
As a Very Unique Specialist Mage, she can wield Four of all the Six Elements herself; Mages wield one or two at most. There have been a few Rare cases of three.
But Never Four.
She Is Quite Literally One Of A Kind.
In the Divinities’ Realm of Nehvadi'iaa, one of them is hoping she is ready for the ultimate threat that is coming. She has even sent one of her Divinities to Faeh’rron to oversee her protection personally, disguised in corporal form and as a Mage… to be ready at the Front Lines — and to take care of her Personal Herald, The Protector … otherwise known as Ana'sarii of Narayya'an. Then, Crown Prince Jar'rohd of Vakarii'aa is kidnapped in the Forests of Earra'al. This is The Catalyst — And The Prophesy of Mages now Finally Begins.
BEFORE/Background:
Ana once had a good, normal (for a princess) life, in the Palace of Narayya'an, She and her parents lived there with the Key Members of the Royal Family, including her grandfather, the King.
Her parents didn't think twice about her being a Mage, and neither did the rest of her family, and she was left alone to enjoy her gifts as she pleased. The entirety of the Royal Family were a close-knit group, a truely  family
Unfortunately, their family, became fragmented as unfortunate events proceeded to hit them without warning and within quick succession. Firstly, the King died very unexpectedly, leaving his still-young oldest son to upgrade his mantle from Crown Prince to King. His wife became Queen, his own daughter the Crown Princess, and the the new King also bequeathed his younger sister - Ana's mother - the Title of The Grand Royal Princess.
All their lives were turned upside down. Both siblings and their young families had gone from happy and relaxed lives without much of a care, to being thrown into both Grief-Stricken Chaos, while the new King struggled to find his feet or his way through the task of being the New Ruler without having had received the right training or adequate knowledge of protocol or Court expectations.
Unprepared for Sovereignty - having been Crown Prince his entire life and believing he had several more years - even Eras - before he had to care, the New King had no idea how to manage the monumental task of running -what was now his - Kingdom.
The Kingdom became more unruly. The new King worked harder and harder, shutting himself away in meets or in his study, hoping to manage to better it all. His Crown Princess daughter, Vaellen'niia, no longer saw her father every day and was herself forced to undergo long, complicated regime of learning the process of how to rule a Kingdom, manage the Court, Economics and Diplomacy, formal etiquette protocols throughout all Kingdoms of Eall'wyye, and a myriad of more things.
Ana missed her best friend and cousin, and her own once-happy parents now looked and behaved like the world was heavy upon their shoulders.
The family's tragedies were not to be so simplistic, though. The struggling Royal Family held many diplomatic talks to keep themselves in as good as standing as they knew how to manage. several years into the new King's reign, his sister and her husband went on one diplomatic journey, leaving a fifteen year Ana behind at the Palace.
Tragedy struck then their carriage plummeted down the side of a tall, steep cliff of a mountainside road. The steep mountainside and narrow road was apparently misjudged by the carriage driver or the horses, and there were no survivors.
Fifteen year old Ana was woken up that night to the heartbreaking news, given to her by her uncle, the King. The Queen had gone to inform Vaellen'niia. The family once more was utterly torn asunder.
Ana inherited her mother's title and became The Royal Grand Princess. She was also legally and formally adopted by her aunt and uncle, therefore also legally making her the "spare" Princess Heir to Vaellen'niia's future Ruling. She was now a part of the Main Royal Family, and also told not to openly use or practice her Magika - because there was an intense dislike of Magika with Court, and therefore society.
Grief-torn Ana resented and hated it all. She tried to put up with it for two years, but... She could never feel happy or safe under this roof anymore. Without her parents here, where was nothing that made it better... Without them, without Magika, without En'nii, there was just... Nothing.
And was seventeen years old when she ran away. She never looked back, leaving the Royal Family, the Palace — and especially The Royal Grand Princess Ana'sarii of Narayya'an— far, far behind her, hiding her true self, her heritage, and her Magika.
First she learned to fight with weapons, and how using her full body and range gave her enough strength and agility to catch the upper hand. It took years before she used Magika for defence and attack in fighting, but once she started, she became adept quite quickly, giving her better chances at survival out in the world quite literally on her own.
Ana had been on the run for Eight Years when she was found losing a battle with mercenaries, and coming close to losing. L'eiito Ara'laan of the Coven of Earra'al was surprised and awed by the fighting abilities of the mage before him, but could still see that her startling abilities were waning quickly. He stepped in, helped her, saved her, then had to carry her back to the nearby Coven in his arms because she all but passed out after they were done. He noted she was struggling to breathe, nearly skin-and-bone, with a disturbingly grey pallor.  She needed food, water, rest, Healing, and his Coven could offer her all that, as well as safety, sanctuary, and a home.
So, that's where they went.
SINCE:
Ana has spent the last four years (bar a few months) at the Coven of Earra'al in The Kingdom of Narayy'aan, of the Realms of Eall'wyye and The Borderlands of Faeh'rron. She's managed quite well there, with both good friends and proper Magika Training for her unique talents, but all the while very carefully concealing who she really was, from absolutely everyone
Then, her Cousin En'nii turned up, out of the blue, as if from nowhere - who she hasn't seen in more than Seven Years, since she ran away from home, aged seventeen. She wanted to forget her past - now it was back in her face, front and centre, making friends with her friends, and becoming part of her life once again.
The Secret she's been hiding the entire time ends up exploding in both her face and En'nii's. When it finally does come to smack her in the backside, it - very unfortunately - comes with a Divine Prophesy Nobody new anything about.
Well... Except her best friend L'eiito, who's been hiding Quite A Few Secrets of his own.
